Tidus and Wakka jumped around on Besaid Island's beach, tossing a blitzball back and forth.

TIDUS: There's no beating us! Those other guys are going down! Our goal is victory!

WAKKA: We gonna do our best an' I tink we can win da whole thing. Like he says...victory, ya?

TIDUS: Nobody out there will be able to stop us! After all, how many of them can do this!

Tidus runs to a nearby ledge and climbs up, looking out over the water. He leaps into the air, twists several times, then as Wakka tosses him a blitzball, he boots it across the water before doing another flip and splashing down in what he thought was water, but instead was land.

WAKKA: Whoa ho ho ho, did you see dat? 'Ey! Now show 'em da other move, ya?

Tidus is not moving. Instead, his body is slumped over in an awkward position on the sandy beach.

WAKKA: Hey, brudda. What you doin'? Stop messin' around..............Oh man. Somebody get a phoenix down or sometin'! An' hurry up, ya?
