Heading Home

Mother was already over the loss of Jimbo and whatever those mus names were. She was singing campfire songs with Aeris. Not real songs of course. They made their own words up as they went.
Oh I can't find the fire. I think I'm gonna need some... uhh... pliers. I think the fires is on some tires.

How do I stay sane? Well, I went and talked with Vincent and Lucrecia. I'll call her Lucrecia to keep Mother from getting mad and doing something bad. The conversation was pretty boring, especially since Vincent fell asleep before the conversation was over. It kinda sucked being out in the middle of nowhere, but we were able to keep the frogs away from us (I knew Yuffie would come in handy) and keep Mother away from my Black Materia. Yuffie stood outside the camp area swatting the frogs away and Mother was tied to a post. I didn't tie her up. She did. Don't ask me why. To end the boring day, we all slept. Except for Yuffie.

The next day we all walked to Gongaga. It wasn't too far, but I had to carry Yuffie since she was sleeping, and I was the only one strong enough to carry her. Well, I actually think Vincent could have, but I don't think Yuffie wanted her leg all scratched up from his claw...
     Sephy...

And Tifa likes to play weak, even though she's easily strong enough....
     Sephy aren't you forgetting something?

It didn't bother me though. Yuffie is very light...
     SEPHY!

"What Mother?"
     Aren't you forgetting something?

"What would I have forgotten?"
     You never found the fire.

Oh damn. The entire forest area by the river was on fire. Flames reached over forty feet high.
"Oh, uh, hey guys?" I said. "I think we should rent a van and head back to Nibelheim. I need to get Mother home. I'm finally assured that Mother should never leave the house."
"Good idea," Aeris said, "but can I ask a favor?"
     No!

"Yeah sure, ask away," I said, glaring at Mother.
I hate that look. You think I'm stupid don't you? Well, I'm more intelligenter than you.
"Well, see," Aeris said, "my mommy kicked me out of her house. She said I'm too blasphemous and perverted to live with her... She only said this because one day I couldn't find my panties, and she heard me yell 'goddam panties' and kicked me out. If she knew what I did now that she kicked me out, she'd probably have a heart attack. So could I come live in that big mansion with you? I'd help take care of your mother if you let me."
I'm not the problem, he's the problem. You need to help me with him. Always bathing and eating. He makes me sick.

"Yes, please. Come help me with Mother. And since the waterfall is gone too, Vincent and Lucrecia, you guys can live in my house too. It's plenty big. Tifa, you're welcome too..."
"No thanks," Tifa said, "I have a huge house. I might visit occasionally though. We're right down the street."
"What're you gonna do about Yuffie?" Aeris asked. I forgot I was even holding her.
"Lets leave her in Gongaga." I said. "I don't want her living with me. She'd steal all my expensive materia and sell it."
We reached Gongaga. Vincent found a phone and called the rent-a-van place and I dropped Yuffie off at Zach's parents' house. They'll love that present. The rest of us piled into the van and headed for Nibelheim.
"By the way, Mother," I said. "Do you still have Jimbo?"
Jimbo? Oh. No. He wanted to stay with his brothers, Wang, Billy, and Harry in the forest. They'll come back when I ring the dinner bell though.

It's a good thing Mother has such a short term memory. She'll forget about Jimbo and those mus once we reach home.
