Good day!

Have you heard about Quistis's tournament? It sounds fun. Slightly odd though. I received a notice that people above the age of 30 are required to pay a higher entry fee. I don't suppose this is another of Quistis's plots to meet boys and make money, is it? What do you think? Is this the Coed Strip Relay Race all over again?

If that tournament is a real tournament, I might use it as a reason to head back out in your direction and check in on Balamb Garden again. I know I'm supposedly on a vacation, but it's so hard to keep away from my Garden. By the way, how is everybody there? I hope you're taking care of everybody properly without me. Not that I have my doubts. You can probably do better than I ever did. I just hope Seifer and his friends (I forget their names at the moment) aren't giving you too many problems.

I have good news though! The orphanage is really working out nicely! We've got a bright young group in here (lots of potential SeeDs *nudge nudge*), and on top of that, President Loire of Esthar has mailed me an official notice. They'd like for us to set up another branch of our orphanage in Esthar. There aren't many details on this yet, but I'll keep you posted.
